Join me for a Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) Experience, or as I like to call it: Power Breath.

The technique is simple: inhale → inhale → exhale. Repeat. That's it.​ Sounds easy enough, but what happens in the body is another story.

When you breathe this way, all sorts of things happen but my favorite is that your nervous system wakes up. Your mind steps out of the way. Your body — which has been holding tension, emotion, sensation — finally gets the ​signal that it's safe to move ​it. So it does. And with it, your nervous system gets to down-regulate, maybe for the first time in a very, very, v e r y long time.
